| There are different styles of cakes to suit everyone's preference and budget, from the fondant wrapped or chocolate wrapped cake, to the intricate, three dimensional sculpted creation priced in the thousands!!!! Three Dimensional: The only limitations here are imagination and GRAVITY!!! A Three dimensional design is sculpted entirely of Cake, Chocolate and Icing. We try not to use internal supports in your cake, making it very easy to cut ... and of course eat!! Hand crafted Icing Figurine: Our Figurines are handmade. If you supply us with a picture, we can replicate your favourite pet or even a caricature of the person the cake is for. Two Dimensional Flooded Chocolate: Coloured Chocolate or icing is used to give this effective "cartoon" look to your cake. Airbrushed: We use a food grade air brushing system to colour our cakes. It gives us the scope for shading the cake for a more realistic look (for 3D work), or a softer finish on an iced cake. It also is important to note, that the small amount of food colouring needed to airbrush a cake, means less food colouring for your little ones and more sanity for you!!!! Hand painted: Painting directly onto a cake with food colouring gives a different look again. A cake can be a great canvas!!!! Or a cake may include a combination of any of the above ... |

| Before scheduling a consultation with me, try to have as much of the following information as possible: * How many guests you expect - this determines the size of cake you will need * Date, time, and address of reception - I need to know in advance when I am expected to arrive, and if there will be any scheduling conflicts with other appointments I may have * Your budget - This will help us determine what type of decorations are best for you * An idea of what kind of design you would like. If you have pictures and/or color samples, this will help me get the idea that you have. * Flavors - look at my flavor list to get some ideas of what you and your guests might want. If you have a new flavor, tell me, and I'll see what I can find. * Real, silk, or handmade icing- It is important that I know what types of flowers you want on your cake, as this determines where they will come from. Real flowers are typically added onto your already existing order, and silk flowers can either be bought by you or myself. * Have a check ready when you arrive, because if you confirm a wedding date with me, I will need half of your payment up front. * Any special circumstances you might have, such as food allergies, unusual location, etc. |
